Tasco Binoculars

Tasco Binoculars are supported by a company whose primary objective is to make sports optics available to anyone on any budget. Tasco's line of sports optics has recently been updated in 2007. I am going to give a few brief descriptions to help bring you up to speed and hopefully, simplify your decision making process.

Tasco Essentials 10-30x50 Zoom

These Tasco Binoculars are built for the type of person who likes as much zoom as possible. Like the name says these have a magnification that ranges through 10-30 via their zoom feature.These are fully coated and have BK7 prisms.These have a limited weather resistance factor though,are not fully waterproof. These make a good choice for the casual sportsman or as a first pair of binoculars.

Sierra Full Size

The Sierra series of Tasco Binoculars are a great choice for use in the outdoors with, a rugged outer coating, full waterproofing and an objective lens that is large enough to make the most of low light conditions, also helping conserve light is the multi-coating found on the lenses of this series. These are Roof Prism Binoculars in 12x50mm layout. The Field of view on this model is 244 ft @ 1000 yards.

Offshore Marine Binoculars

If you can't tell by the name, These are Tasco optics most sea worthy series, aimed at the nautical enthusiast or professional.Like most great marine binoculars these are fully waterproof, have 7x magnification paired with 50mm objective lenses.The relatively low magnification rating helps stabilize the image and give a wide angle view, while the 50mm objective lenses maximize light capture. The field of view is 366ft @ 1000 yards. Available with both a rangefinder and compass.

World Class Series

The midsize Tasco optics are touted as Tasco's top of the line these Roof Prism binoculars feature Bak-4 prisms, full waterproofing, multicoating and a wide angle view of 346ft at 1000 yards. Available in 8x magnification by 42mm diameter objective lens size giving good exit pupil size for low light conditions.
