Bushnell Binoculars
Bushnell Binoculars are well respected and have been around for more than half a century. My very first pair of binoculars were a pair of Bushnell's .Since there are so many models to choose from I will focus on a few special Models.
The Powerview Series The PowerView series is the largest line of Bushnell binoculars. No matter what you need, you can find a variety of powers, styles and sizes, with fully coated optics for bright, clear images. Standard-size porro models feature Insta Focus for fast focus on moving targets. The mid-size roof prism models with 32mm objectives provide increased brightness for better light grasp.This series includes both roof prism and porro prism models. The powerview series features magnifications ranging from 8x to 16x, and objective lenses ranging from 20mm in the more compact models, to 50mm in the larger models. Prices in this series range from about $18.00 to around $70.00
Xtra Wide Series These two models of Bushnell Binoculars are specially designed to give twice the standard field of view, like I have said before increasing the field of view makes a binocular much better suited for events that inolve lot of movement, saving you the trouble of darting around. This series is very useful at sporting events like football games when you need to keep and eye on a large area. Field of view in this series is rated from an amazing 900ft at 1000 yards in the 4x30mm model, to a very impressive 380ft FOV in the 10x25mm model. Prices range from about $110.00 to about $140.00.
Trophy Series These roof prism binoculars are geared toward the sportsman, not only are they compact they are durable, completely waterproof, fogproof and coated with a large ribbed rubber armor to make them easier to hold. They are equipped with the very desireable BAK-4 prisms and having a large focus knob are very easy to focus when on the go. This series is geared toward the Hunter/Naturalist, so it shouldn't surprise you that there are camoflage models available. Magnifications are available in 8x, 10x, and 12x with objective lens diameters of 27mm, 42mm ,or 50mm. Prices range from $270.00 to about $80.00.
Permafocus Series What makes these optics so interesting is that unlike conventional binoculars they don't have to be focused at all, they do it for you! All you have to do is aim. Giving you one less thing to worry about. These come in a variety of sizes ranging and magnifications. Magnifications available are 7x,8x,10x,12x, with objective lens sizes of 25mm, 32mm, 42mm,50mm.This series includes both roof and porro prisms. Prices range from about $40.00 to about $90.00
